Louis Smith | First Black Man to win a medal in an Olympic Gymnastics Competition since Jair Lynch

Louis Smith
Britisher Louis Smith born April 22, 1989 and just 19 years of age participated and won a bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He has been the highlight of discussion for different reasons. He is the first Britain to win a medal for Individual Gymnastics since 1908 and is also the first Britain to win a medal in Gymnastics since the women's team won a medal in 1928. Apparently, he is also the first black man to have won a medal in an Olympic Gymnastics competition since Jair Lynch (who won the silver medal during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics).
